When you give using Givio, your donation is eligible for a tax deduction. You will need your tax receipt. 


There are two ways to get your tax receipt after you donate.

  1. When donating on the web, after you make your donation, the web page will ask you to provide an email address to receive a receipt. Just enter your email address when prompted and we will email your tax receipt.

    Do not leave the web page before you complete this step. 

  2. If you have downloaded the app and are a signed in Member, your gift records are stored in your Account settings under Giving History. You can access your tax receipt info anytime you wish! The email address you provided upon registration will receipt a tax receipt from Givio Charitable Foundation immediately after your donation is made.


If you donate through your financial institution's online banking portal featuring Givio, you will automatically get a tax-receipt emailed to the email address your financial institution has on file, after you donate. Your downloadable giving history is also available in your online banking portal, detailing your gift transaction.
